Amy, a native of the Lehigh Valley, joined Carol C. Dorey Real Estate, Inc. in 1990 and was licensed shortly thereafter. She has had many roles including Sales Agent and Office Manager. Since 2004 she has worked in tandem with our agents in her role as a Transaction Manager. Amy enjoys the process of guiding buyers and sellers through the completion of the sale or purchase of their dream homes. In addition, she utilizes her 30-plus years of experience for training and support of other agents in the office. A Pennsylvania Notary Public, Amy frequently assists our sellers in signing settlement documents in advance.

I absolutely cannot sing the praises of Jena and Amy enough! Jena was the listing agent for a property we'd unsuccessfully made a bid on, but she was kind enough to offer her services in helping us find another home despite only recently having met us. From day one she went above and beyond, working around our schedule (we'd driven four hours up to see the original property and were returning home soon after) to show us three other homes in a single day. She even took time out to personally drive by a fourth and vet the neighborhood! When we finally found a home Jena was with us every step of the way, and I cannot be more grateful. The reason for our move has caused a great deal of turbulence in my family, and having Jena there to guide us through all of the paperwork, inspections, and minutiae was an absolute lifesaver. I relied on her completely and she never once let me down! Over and over she went out of her way to accommodate our situation, including attending the inspection to save us a drive back up. The week before our closing our mortgage bank was causing an issue on a previously undisclosed technicality and threatening to push back the closing date. The only reason we were able to keep our date (and our new home!) was because Jena and her team immediately went into crisis mode. She not only found us a new bank to work through (shoutout to Embassy for pulling together an entire mortgage in a week, by the way!) but was in touch with them as well as the sellers and their listing agents. She was juggling a million plates and still found the time to check in with us and suggest the best course of action. Throughout the entire experience she remained courteous and professional. She was as invested in us finding the perfect home as if she were helping her own family; she was always available and I never felt as if my needs were inconveniencing her. If you're lucky enough to have her as your agent you are absolutely in the best of hands. I also want to give Amy her flowers! She was just as fantastic as Jena, coordinating all these different agents and timetables without ever missing a beat. Her working hours seem limitless - I received several updates from her after 9 PM during crunch time! She's just as kind and professional as Jena; they make a wonderful team.
